The advantages of robotic surgery and anesthesia include a faster recovery from surgery and significantly lower pain levels. Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee is the only hospital in North Florida within a 2 hour radius that has the highly specialized Robot. Because of its advantages, robotic assisted surgery with the "Davinci Robot" will likely become as commonplace as laparoscopic surgery is today.
